In December 2018, his mom, Anita Redd, filed the lawsuit on behalf of her son, suing the makers of the popular video game Fortnite for allegedly ripping off his signature dance move: the Floss. Horning said “Personally, I don’t really know the law like that, so I can't tell you if they are taking advantage of me or why. But my mom and my management team insisted on suing.”
